• Pursue academic degrees at higher education institutions in Korea.
• Foster international education exchange and deepen friendships between Korea and participating countries.

1. Master’s Degree:
   • 1 year of Korean language training + 2 years of degree program.
2. Doctoral Degree:
   • 1 year of Korean language training + 3 years of degree program.
3. Research Program:
   • 6 months or 1 year.

• Type A (33 universities): Includes Seoul National University, KAIST, Yonsei University, POSTECH, and more.
• Type B (41 universities): Includes Pusan National University, Kyungpook National University, Jeonbuk National University, and others.

• Hold citizenship from one of the designated countries.
• Be under 40 years of age (born after September 1, 1985).
• Have a Bachelor’s degree (for Master’s applicants) or a Master’s degree (for Doctoral applicants).
• Achieve a minimum CGPA of 2.64/4.0, 2.80/4.3, 2.91/4.5, or 3.23/5.0.
• Be in good health, both physically and mentally.

• Embassy Track: 28 February, 2025

1. Email Content Matters:
   When you email a professor, do not simply write your father’s name, religion, CNIC number, and your village address.
2. Present Yourself as the Right Fit:
   Your goal is to present yourself as the best fit for the professor’s lab. This cannot be achieved by writing exaggerated praise like, “Wow, professor! You are the best person, an angel on earth. I want to join your lab.” Similarly, avoid statements such as, “Professor, you are the greatest researcher I have come across after Newton, so I want to join your lab.” Keep in mind—professors already know they are good at their work; they do not need you to sing their praises. Instead, read their research papers, understand their work, and relate it to your previous studies and skills. Even if their work is advanced, find ways to connect your skills and experience to their research on a fundamental level. Speaking their language and demonstrating that you understand their work will make them pay attention to you.
3. Avoid Email Bombardment:
   Many students flood professors with emails, similar to World War II kamikaze pilots. Understand this—applying for scholarships is not a lottery where you keep buying tickets, hoping to win one day. Spamming emails will not increase your chances of getting a response, especially when your major has no relevance to the professor's field (e.g., a business major contacting a biology professor).
4. Scholarships Require Effort:
   Scholarships are awarded to those who put in the effort. Some students believe that just mentioning their name, father's name, CNIC number, village address, and copying a standard email template will magically secure them a scholarship. They imagine that within a few hours, someone will ring their doorbell and hand them a bag containing 4 million rupees, simply because their name and degree sounded impressive. Understand this—nothing comes easy.
