• What It Is: A university-level full scholarship that covers tuition, living expenses, and more. As from university side GKS application, you can apply through POSTECH & POSTECH will nominate you as their final candidate and will send to GKS headquarters and at the end if GKS selects you, you will study as GKS scholar in POSTECH If you win it, you do not need any funding by professor.
• How It Works: POSTECH will soon post the criteria for GKS on its International Admissions notice board. 
• Tip: Aim for GKS if you have a high CGPA and strong publication records.  Otherwise choose other university in Korea to apply through GKS university applicant. Go for other scholarships/fundings given below for POSTECH.

• What It Is: A fully funded scholarship that requires no additional funding from a professor.

• What It Is: A partial scholarship available only for Asian females 
• Note: This scholarship is partial scholarship, you will need  TA/RA scholarship as given in point 3.

• What It Is: Every POSTECH professors have funding from South Korean or US industries to cover tuition fees and provide a monthly stipend.
• How It Works: In every case of the scholarship, university one and professor one,  you have to contact the professor. Even if you do not secure a university scholarship, contacting and impressing a professor with a similar research background can secure full funding for tuition fee and stipend. This is most readily available scholarship at POSTECH. So do focus on contacting professors in best way using guides below. Even do apply if no professors replies to you as later on as university sends your profile to professors, they can interview you and hire you. Also POSTECH upload the professors list in excel sheet form and their assistantship offers (stipend amount and tuition fee etc) nearby the application opening dates. So keep an eye also on the notice board of the university and we shall also upload here, so keep on checking the link here. How to Apply

1. Find Your Supervisor:
   • Step 1: Identify professors at POSTECH/GIFT, whose research aligns with your background. Also soon they will upload Excel sheet of professors also. But without waiting for it, find yourself the professors using guide below and apply
   • Here is the list of Professors who will take students for Fall 2025 and Spring 2026

1. Step 2: Reach out to them with a well-prepared email. If a professor is interested in your profile, they may offer you funding (tuition fee + stipend). If professor start to reply you as mentioned in guide, then must apply for admissions.

   • Contact First: Start by emailing potential supervisors. If they respond positively, they can help secure your funding package and applying for university scholarships also.
   • Direct Application: If you do not get a reply, you can still apply directly to POSTECH/GIFT. Remember, the application fee is $80 USD or 80,000 KRW (55 US $). Post-application, professors may review your profile and invite you for an interview, giving you a chance to demonstrate your strengths.
