Study One Year Duration Masters (M2) in France Partially funded or Fully funded: Polytech Nantes, Public University of France for FAST NUCES Students who already have done Masters from FAST NUCES

Dear FAST-NUCES MS Alumni,

FAST-NUCES is pleased to announce an exciting international academic opportunity for its students to do another masters, one year Masters M2 in France at Polytech Nantes and get a degree from France , Nantes University, under FAST NUCES x Polytech Nantes MOU.

FAST-NUCES MS graduated students who wish to gain high-quality international academic exposure, study in a globally respected European institution, strengthen their technical and research profile, and enhance their future career prospects in both academia and industry. Through this pathway, selected students will have the chance to do another Master degree of one year duration in France in a highly advanced, research-oriented, and innovation-driven environment and later getting jobs in France, also having the possibility to get a job search visa.

Why Another Masters

  1. Maybe you do not want to go for a PhD degree and want to do another masters, so you can start your careers in industry in France after one year Masters or in other good industries in Europe as you will get the job search visa after this masters as well.
  2. You will be able to get a well funded PhD anywhere in the world, after this one year masters at France.

Why Polytech Nantes?

Polytech Nantes is a leading engineering school of Nantes University, France, is a highly respected public institution known for academic excellence, applied research, innovation, and strong collaboration with industry. As part of one of France’s recognized public university systems, Polytech Nantes offers students access to modern laboratories, experienced faculty, international academic standards, and strong links with companies and research organizations.
Studying at Polytech Nantes provides students with the opportunity to experience the French and European higher education system, build international networks, work on advanced research and thesis projects, and prepare themselves for global careers in engineering, computing, data, and artificial intelligence-related fields.

Program Details
  • The M2 programmes are taught entirely in English and require a B2 level of English. 
  • You will have to submit an English language proficiency letter from FAST NUCES. 
  • Applicants must hold a relevant Masters degree from FAST NUCES.
  • Students will study at Polytech Nantes for one academic year (two semesters) for the Master’s 2 (M2) level. 

Available Programs & Tracks
Two degree programs with 4 tracks each
Two Degrees:
1) MS Computer Science with following two tracks
For students from Computing School (AI, DS, CS, SE, CYS), Computer Engineering backgrounds,
the following two tracks are available:

2) MS  Electronics, Electrical Energy, and Automation
For students from Electrical Engineering or Computing School (AI, DS, CS, SE, CYS) and Computer Engineering-related backgrounds, the following two tracks are available:
Tuition Fee and Financial Information

  • €12,000 for the full academic year
  • During the 2nd semester, students complete a 5-month research thesis or internship in either a research laboratory or a company. This internship is paid approximately 3000 € in total (600€ per month). 
  • Students with CGPA 3.9 to 4.0 can apply for Eiffel Excellence Scholarship as well, which is fully funded, so no other financial or tuition fee is required for them, but again scholarship is a competition.  

Estimated Financial Requirement

Students must be able to demonstrate sufficient financial resources for tuition and living expenses.

Required Proof of Funds:
  • Tuition Fee: €12,000
  • Estimated Living Expenses: €800 per month × 12 months = €9,600 or more
  • Total Estimated Funds Required: €21,600 or more
Applicants must be prepared to show proof of the above financial amount by May 2027 for admission and visa processing purposes.

Students applying for Eiffel Excellence, do not need this requirement. 

Deposit Requirement:
A €1500 deposit will be required upon admission confirmation to secure the student’s place in the program before 30th April 2027.

Eligibility Criteria

Academic Eligibility:
Applicants must meet the following academic requirements:
  • Must have graduated from MS at FAST-NUCES
  • Must have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 to 4.0.

  • For Eiffel applicants: 3.9 to 4.0 CGPA required 

Language Requirement:
Applicants must provide either of the following:
  • IELTS score of 6.5 or above, OR
  • An official letter from FAST-NUCES confirming that English is the medium of instruction

Financial Requirement:
Applicants must be able to provide financial proof of approximately €21,600 or more to cover tuition and living expenses.

  • For Eiffel applicants: Not such requirement

Application Timeline

Application Deadline at: 03 November, 2026 (Tuesday)

Selection and Nomination Schedule:
  • Interview Timeline: Starts from 4 November 2026 (Wednesday)
  • Final nomination by FAST-NUCES for M2 and Eiffel Excellence: 09 November 2026
  • Application Deadline for Eiffel Scholarship at Polytech Nantes: 11 November 2026 (Wednesday)
  • Application Deadline at Polytech Nantes for free movers: 12 November 2026

Steps to Apply

  1. Fill out the application form: https://forms.gle/vuxZpVLEkKJyJrJFA by 03 November
  2. Submit all required supporting documents within the deadline.
  3. Applications will undergo initial documentation screening.
  4. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for interviews and/or technical assessment.
  5. Selected and eligible students will be nominated officially.
  6. Nominated students will be informed by email regarding the next stage, including the application process at Polytech Nantes.

Missing documents or a missed interview = INELIGIBILITY

Full Scholarship Opportunity for FAST NUCES MS: Top Achievers (3.9 - 4.0 CGPA): Apply for the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship & Study M2 for €0 and also living expenses will be covered by the scholarship. It is a competition by French Govt., so do try your luck if you have the required CGPA



Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Be of foreign nationality. Binational students with French as one of their nationalities are not eligible.
  • Be a student age 29 or younger at the time of the application deadline.
  • Should not benefit from another French government scholarship at the time of the application deadline.
  • Must apply to the Eiffel Scholarship program for the first time. Applications rejected by Campus France during a previous selection cannot be represented.
  • Language proficiency: a minimum of C1 in English is required depending on the field of study.
  • Must choose only one university to apply for the scholarship.
  • Must have done M2
  • Must apply for an eligible M2 degree program.
Important: We can only nominate for the Eiffel Scholarship. All the selection depends on Polytech Nantes and French Govt.
