Prime Minister's Initiative for Capacity Building of 1000 Agriculture Graduates in China  (Re-Advertisement) 

Duration of Training : 03-06 Months 
It was published in newspapers on 19.11.2024 for seeking applications. However, a smaller number of applicants against the allocated slots were shortlisted as per eligibility criteria, hence re-advertisement is being published.
Those who have already submitted applications and shortlisted against the previously advertised program dated 19 November 2024 are not required to resubmit fresh applications.


  1. The Prime Minister of Pakistan visited agricultural universities and research institutes in China and witnessed their cutting-edge agriculture practices. In order to benefit from China’s experience, a short-term training program to send 1,000 agricultural graduates to China under the Prime Minister directive.
  2. The Ministry of National Food Security and Research (MNFSR) invites applications from young agricultural graduates from public and private sectors to participate in this training program, which will be implemented in phases. The duration of training will be 3-6 months. Details of priority areas of training, eligibility criteria, and general instructions are as follows:

Priority Areas
The training will be provided in the following nine priority areas: i. Farm mechanization.
ii. Crop breeding and genomics (cotton, hybrid rice, vegetables, pulses, wheat, and alfalfa seeds).
iii. High-level technology-drones, Internet of Things (IoT), AI.
iv. Seed production and processing technologies.
v. Livestock disease surveillance.
vi. Livestock breeding and genomics.
vii. Aquaculture, especially shrimp production and processing.
viii. High-efficiency irrigation systems.
ix. Fruit and vegetable processing.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Young agricultural graduates with specialization in nine priority areas.
  • Attained minimum CGPA 3.0/4.0 or first division in (BS/BSc (Hons.) 4 years). Higher degrees i.e. MS/MPhil or Ph.D. will be awarded additional score subject to a minimum CGPA 3.0/4.0.
  • In case applicants are more than training slots, they will be ranked based on CGPA/marks.
  • Should be less than 35 years of age on the closing date of application, i.e., 05.02.2025.
  • Have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in nine priority areas.
  • Proficiency in the English language and use of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
General Instructions
  1. Training program is fully funded by the Government of Pakistan.
  2. Scope of training, orientation sessions, and reporting requirements will be provided to selected applicants.
  3. Interested applicants may apply online https://chinatraining.fsp.gov.pk/ and upload their C.V., academic credentials/transcripts/degrees, passport (image of bio page) on or before the closing date. The application portal will remain active until the closing date (12:00 midnight PST).
  4. Selected candidates will be required to submit HEC-attested copies of credentials/transcripts/degrees and sign a bond to return to Pakistan upon completion of training and be available as master trainers.
  5. Applicants working in the public sector will have to provide NOC of their respective departments upon selection.
  6. Family will not be allowed to accompany the trainee.
  7. Those who have already submitted applications and shortlisted against the previously advertised program dated 19 November 2024 are not required to resubmit fresh applications.
  8. Applicants should have a passport valid for at least one year beyond the application deadline.
  9. Applications with incomplete/incorrect information will be rejected.
