Eligibility Criteria

Academic Achievement:

Undergraduate: Minimum 70% academic achievement.
Master’s & Ph.D.: Minimum 75%.
Health Sciences (Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy): Minimum 90%.

Age Requirements:

Undergraduate: Under 21 years of age.
Master’s: Under. 30.
Ph.D.: Under. 35.
Researchers: Under. 45.

Enrollment Status: Applicants should not be enrolled in Turkish universities at the level they are applying for.

English Language Requirements

Many programs offered under Türkiye Scholarships are taught in English. If you are applying for an English-taught program, you must provide proof of language proficiency.

Accepted Language Tests:

TOEFL iBT, IELTS, or equivalent internationally recognized certifications.
Minimum scores vary by program and university but generally include: TOEFL iBT: 79–80+
IELTS: 6.0+ overall band score

If your previous education was entirely in English, you can apply with an English proficiency certificate from your institution instead of a test score. But having IELTS or TOEFL increases your chances of selection

Application Process

Research Programs and Universities: Identify your preferred programs and universities.

Prepare Documents: Passport or valid ID.
Recent photograph.
Academic transcripts and diplomas.
International exam results (GRE, GMAT, etc.), if required.
Language test scores (TOEFL, IELTS, etc.).
Research proposal (Ph.D. applicants).

Prepare all documents, SOP/Letter of intent in a good way, so that it will work

Register: Create an account on the Türkiye Scholarships application system.
Complete and Submit the Application: Ensure accuracy and upload all required documents before submission.

Go to the website, create your account on the portal and fill in all the details in the given sections. It will take 2-3 hours to complete the application. You can fill application by your own. Don't pay anyone to do that for you.

Selection Process

Preliminary Assessment: Applications are reviewed for eligibility and academic achievements.
Shortlisting: Eligible candidates are shortlisted for interviews.
Interview: Conducted in person or online to assess motivation, academic goals, and program fit.
Final Selection: Based on overall performance, including interviews.
