Study in France: Spring 2026 Exchange at CESI with Zero Tuition for FAST-NUCES Students

Eligibility (all must be true at the time of application)

• Currently enrolled in 3rd/4th/5th semester of Bachelors degree at FAST-NUCES
• Willing/eligible to complete 4th/5th/6th semester at CESI in Spring 2026
• CGPA ≥ 3.00 (no rounding)
• Demonstrated English proficiency (good speaking & writing)
• Passport valid for at least 18 months from today.
• Students want to do 4th or 7th or 8th semester at CESI can email us, we shall see their request case by case as it is difficult for us to send for 4th or 7th or 8th semesters
• Fields/Majors, which Students can apply:

Academic transfer & grading (Important)

• Minimum overlap: Your HoD must certify at least 70% content overlap per course (see template).
• Grades: CESI ECTS grades A/B/C transfer as Pass (P) on your FAST transcript.
• CGPA impact: Transferred courses do not affect CGPA. They appear as Pass (P) on your FAST transcript.
  Example: If you complete 4 CESI courses and all are approved for transfer, these appear as Pass (P) on your FAST transcript—your CGPA remains unchanged, and you won’t repeat those courses at FAST.
• 1 to1 transfer: CESI ECTS courses are mapped to FAST courses with HoD approval irrespective of GPA or ECTS (≥70% overlap). 
• Final authority: Departmental Board/HoD + International Office decisions on equivalency/transfer are final.

Costs

• No tuition at CESI.
• You will pay FAST-NUCES tuition for only those courses that transfer (as per normal FAST credit-hour fees).
• You must personally cover: airfare, visa fee, accommodation, meals, health insurance, local transport, personal expenses.
• Prepare a monthly budget for the cities (Rouen/Lyon/Strasbourg/Toulouse/Aix-en-Provence) before applying using ChatGPT or Gemini or Claude or DeepSeek.

Selection timeline (Pakistan Standard Time, PKT) (Documentation + Two Interviews Based) 

• Application deadline: Monday, 10 Nov 2025, 2:00 PM (no extensions)
• Initial scrutiny & online interviews: 11–13 Nov 2025
• Final interview (IO Head): 14 Nov 2025
• Results emailed: 17 Nov 2025
• CESI portal application (for nominees): by 21 Nov 2025

Important notes

• Nomination from FAST-NUCES does not guarantee French visa or CESI final acceptance.
• Missing interviews or documents = automatic ineligibility.
• Any change to course lists/equivalencies must be pre-approved by your HoD before enrolling at CESI.
• You must maintain good academic standing and comply with FAST-NUCES & CESI codes of conduct.
