ATTEND THE CESI SUMMER SCHOOL AND GET INVOLVED IN TOMORROW’S MAJOR CHALLENGES LINKED TO GENERATIVE AI

Introduction

Aimed at French and international students who are studying computer science and industrial engineering, the Summer School is a training program that immerses participants in the heart of the generative AI challenges in Industry 5.0 and the factory of tomorrow
Its goal is to allow reflection, exchange and sharing among French and international students from all backgrounds on inputs linked to new models of generative AI and the development of new AI tools.
This Summer School will not only allow you to discover new approaches and technologies of generative AI and its industrial applications, but will also offer you practical work conducted by renowned experts in their field.
Cultural visits to companies, laboratories and emblematic locations will complete the Program.

Attend a two-week program in France, from 7 to 18 July 2025, to develop and deepen your knowledge in generative AI for Industry 5.0:
- Evolve and study in English in an intercultural environment,
- Discover and deepen generative AI techniques and their industrial applications
- Discover new scientific and professional approaches to generative AI (Prompt Engineering and Generative AI models)
- Discover the “French Tech”- Participate in cultural and technical visits in Nice(eco-neighborhoods, companies, laboratories.)
- Discover Nice, the capital of Côte d’Azur, and benefit from cultural immersion in France

Learning objectives

Understanding the challenges of generative AI and its industrial applications
Understanding the challenges of generative AI (climate, environment, energy, ethics, responsibility, etc.)
This common thread project, with a case study, focuses on generative AI and its fundamental models for industrial applications in human-machine interaction, computer vision and quality control in an industrial process, etc.
Practical work on generative AI for the industrial revolution Fablab 3D, AR/VR

OBJECTIVES

Raising awareness of tomorrow’s challenges related to generative AI, and all the major topics of Foundation Models and Linguistic Models (LLM), Deep Learning (DL), Machine Learning (ML) for industrial applications, of course, but also Natural Language Processing (NLP), the DL/ML revolution, and computer vision for industrial applications.

The Summer School revolves around generative AI.
Common thread projects:
- Generative AI project and its fundamental models for industrial application in human-machine interactions, computer vision and quality control in an industrial process, etc.
- Practical work on generative AI for the industrial revolution

Requirements

A B1 level in English is required with goodacademic results in the basic scientific subjects (linear algebra, programming skills, Pytorch, Tensorflow and Keras)
- Skills in Python and programming are required. If you’re not familiar with Python, you’ll need to learn the basics before the Summer School starts.

Accommodation (We shall use pre-booked, which is 700 Euros for two weeks, we shall book it after your registration)
Living Expenses for two weeks (Food, local travelling etc., Food may cost from 300 to 400 Euros for two weeks especially vegetarian food)
Visa processing fees

Health Insurance
Any other expenses

Total expected expenses can be = 600 Euros (Fee of program) + Accommodation (700 Euros) + Food (300 to 400 Euros) + Air Ticket + Visa Processing fees + Local Travelling + Health Insurance ( 10,000 to 18, 000 PKR)+ Personal Expenses

When applying for a visa, be prepared to present proof of funds (approximately 100 Euros or more per day) for your stay.

Eligibility Criteria for program:

Only current Bachelor's or Masters or PhD degree students in 2nd, 3rd ,4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th semesters are eligible. Alumni are not eligible for this opportunity.
