Study in Belarus on the Specialty “Technical Support of Agriculture Production
​The Government of Republic of Belarus is offering two slots for Pakistani Students to study in Belarus on the specialty “TECHNICAL SUPPORT OF AGRICULTURE PRODUCTION FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2025/26" at undergraduate level.

DUE DATE: 17 FEBRUARY 2025

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  1. The applicant should be Pakistani national.
  2. Pakistani students residing in Belarus are also eligible to apply. Documents confirming Belarusian origin (if the person is classified as a foreign citizen who (or their relatives in a direct ascending line) were born or lived in the modern territory of the Republic of Belarus).

LIST OF DOCUMENTS:

Candidates are required to complete the following list of documents for the initial stage:

  • Application for admission to study (written in free form with arguments in favor of the chosen specialty). The application form can be taken from the methodological recommendation, which must be filled out in Russian. For further details please visit video link: https://cloud.mail.ru/public/7xn8/ATiXTP76w
  • Copies of Passport and (or) a National Identity Document (CNIC).
  • A copy of the educational documents (marksheet and certificate of Matric and Intermediate).
  • A copy of the document confirming proficiency in Russian and (or) Belarusian (if any);
  • Copies of a medical document on the state of health indicating the possibility of studying in the chosen specialty and a certificate of absence of HIV infection, issued by the official health authority of Pakistan.
  • Character certificate of applicant from their school/college.
  • Documents that prove the applicant's special qualifications or achievements, giving them an advantage in the third stage of selection.
  • A formal request or recommendation made by the Embassy or Consulate of the Republic of Belarus on behalf of an applicant. This petition is used in special cases where the applicant's academic performance does not meet the standard requirements, but they are still considered for the scholarship due to other merits or circumstances. For example, if an applicant's average score is below the required threshold (e.g., below 7.5 points on a ten-point scale or below 75%), but not less than 55%, the diplomatic mission can submit a petition to support the applicant's case. This petition highlights the applicant's potential and explains why they should be considered for the scholarship despite not meeting the usual academic criteria.

FINANCIAL COVERAGE:

  1. Scholarship Support:
    • The Belarusian government covers your tuition fees through an educational grant.
    • You may receive extra financial support (scholarship supplements) if you perform well academically, participate in scientific or social activities, or need financial assistance.
  2. Accommodation:
    • You will get a place to stay in a student dormitory for the duration of your studies.
    • However, you will have to pay for the dormitory yourself, at the same rate as local Belarusian students.
  3. Expenses Not Covered (Your Own Responsibility):
    • Travel costs to and from Belarus.
    • Daily living expenses (such as food and personal needs).
    • Medical insurance, visa fees, and registration costs.
    • These expenses must be paid using your own money or from other legal sources.
In short, the scholarship covers tuition fees, offers possible financial support, and provides dormitory accommodation (but you need to pay for it


IMPORTANT NOTE:

  • Documents drawn up in a foreign language must be accompanied by a translation into Russian or Belarusian, certified by a notary.
  • The submission set of relevant documents are to be submitted on or before 17 February 2025
